Excitera Charon 2004

Excitera Charon started as a unique collaboration project between Excitera and Ericsson in the autumn of 2004. Four teams of students participated in a course in mobile application development held by Ericsson. Each team submitted a mobile application which was evaluated from both a technical and business perspective. The underlying platform, NRG, allowed applications to use services such as SMS, positioning and automatic calling. The winning team, "Skattjakten", was awarded 15 000 SEK.

Excitera Charon 2005

The 2005 version of Charon built upon the success of the first run. This time, there was more emphasis on the application idea as opposed to technical excellence. Seven teams submitted mobile applications, and TeliaSonera became a partner. The winner, team "Znap 21", was awarded 15 000 SEK.
